Father, we lift up the families impacted by the flooding in Central Texas. Your Word promises that You are near to the brokenhearted. Comfort those who are grieving today. Let them experience Your peace in tangible ways. Strengthen those who continue to work endlessly in search of those who are still missing. Let them experience Your sustaining power. Give them wisdom. Lead them quickly to survivors. Father, please keep any survivors safe until they are rescued. Give unity and wisdom to governing authorities to know how to best support these communities. In the midst of such tragedy and loss, let Your hope be a beacon to all who are struggling. You are enough in every situation. Meet each person where they are today, and reveal to them Your love and care for them. You are still good, Father, even when our circumstances are not good. In Jesus’ name, amen!
